... on a cold winter's night, November 12th, 2004 a beautiful baby girl was born to 2 very happy people! We can hardly believe it's been that long ago & although we miss those days - we enjoy watching you grow every minute! Happy 4th Birthday Peyton Elisabeth! Mommy & Daddy love you so much!

Here are a bunch of pics through the years... Hope you enjoy them as much as I did, going through them all, reminiscing.

Married To Mr. Accident Prone!

Joe's ankle! Isn't it pretty?
Joe came home last week & was limping. I asked him what happened & he said, "Well, I'm not sure." You're probably thinking what I was - "how in the heck can you NOT know what happened when your ankle looks like this?!" Ha! However, he says he just simply stepped down on it & went to turn around when he heard & felt a POP! Ouch! Because he broke that ankle back in high school & had a screw put in it, we decided he probably needed to go have it looked at. But lo & behold... nothing was broken! Thank God! Anyway, he was told to keep it elevated whenever possible & ice it. He's supposed to go back in a week if it's not better. (Perhaps he tore some ligaments?) But it's actually already looking much better! Yay!

Peytie's Birthday Party!!

Well, our little girl turns 4 on Wednesday!! Aaagghh!! Where does the time go?!
We had her birthday party today (since Daddy informed me that next Saturday would interfere with his deer hunting!) Thanks to everyone who came. Here are all the pics! (There are a lot I know, but what can I say - I have a hard time weeding through them. Plus, Papa Jerry had the camera & apparently thought we needed a pic of her opening EVERY gift! Tee hee... J/K, love ya' Papa!)

*Note: I really hate that I'm in like, every picture - but if I don't help her with the gift opening... we'd be there ALL DAY! ;o) She also had a little help from Luke & Shiloh which helped too!

Cake & ice cream!

The party guests...

Kreyton, giving Sawyer kisses. (Or, as Shad puts it... giving his future 'wife' kisses! ;o)

Mr. Kreyton - sportin' his Husker duds! Isn't he a doll?!
Ok, seriously... who the heck is this guy?! I wanna' go home! ;o)

~Update~

Well, I'd like to say everything is just cheery at this household but unfortunately that's not the case. Sawyer has been having a lot of tummy troubles with her formula. So far we've tried Enfamil Lipil, Enfamil ProSobee & now we're trying Enfamil GentleEase. She's been EXTREMELY gassy & fussy for the last 2 weeks and I'm REALLY hoping we can figure this out SOON! I feel so bad for her & the worst part is, because she's having such an intolerance to formula, she isn't eating as much as she should be. (Since mommy can only breast feed about 4 times a day due to a lack of milk... Ugh!) Last week she started to act a little colicky too. (Crying & screaming for about 3 hours each night. And there was nothing we could do to calm her down or console her.) I'm crossing my fingers that the change in formula will put an end to that. I took her to the Dr. on Friday to pick up the sample of GentleEase formula & while we were there I visited with Dr. Serbousek's nurse. She took her in & weighed her. She weighed 8.2 oz. I thought that was pretty good but unfortunately that only puts her in the 45th percentile. So, she wants me to try this new formula & then bring her back in next Friday for another weigh-in. If things don't get better, I'll schedule her with the Dr. I'm praying this finally works! Poor little girl...

Here are some happy moments from the week, caught on camera...

Peytie just LOVES to hold her baby sister. She asks ALL the time!

Every time I unwrap her from her blankie, she's in a cute position like this. Usually both legs are all curled up funny. (Guess she still thinks she's in the womb!)

Proud cousin Tori came over for a bit before work the other day. I feel so blessed that my girls have such wonderful family to surround them.

A little smile.
(Pretty sure it was just gas... but cute, nonetheless.)

Judo chop!

Our little pumpkins!

We had an enjoyable time walking around the neighborhood, trick-or-treating. The girls were pumpkins this year. And they were ADORABLE, if I do say so myself...

Hope everyone had a safe & happy Halloween!!

Here's a shot before trick-or-treating. She had waited LONG enough for her Daddy to get home to go! (Oh, and she didn't get a nap either!)

And here's a shot after I told her that if she didn't smile, we weren't going. Oh, mom's have their way, don't they? ;o)

Mom came over yesterday morning to paint her face. They always dress up on Halloween up at the Heritage. She was a scarecrow. She looked so festive!
