A visit from The GI Vrbi!

Uncle Dave, Aunt Amy & Jack Parker traveled to Palisade & stayed with us this last weekend. And boy did we have fun! Peytie & Jack played like there was no tomorrow! ('Course, they don't get to see each other NEAR as often as we'd like, so it was much needed!) They got along so well. I am absolutely amazed at how much Jack has grown & developed. Seems like he's a totally different kid since the last time I saw him... which was WAY too long ago. The weekend brought a whirlwind of activities. (A visit to see the newest addition to the Blackman family, Jacob Kent; a trip to Wauneta to watch our neice Tori 'whoop butt & take names' at her W/P basketball game and last but not least... we helped sister Heidi celebrate her 28th birthday! Ha Ha! Luv ya' sista'- but you're not foolin' us! ;o) Oh, and we did our little 'Christmas present opening' with Jack! Unfortunately, like all good things... this fun-filled weekend had to end. Peytie was very sad to see them all pack up & leave on Sunday... as were we of course!

Anyway, here are some pics from the weekend... (I surprised myself by actually getting my camera out & taking some 'kodak moments'. ;o)

I just have to say 3 words here... CUTEST. PIC. EVER. (Don't you agree?)
Thanks for coming down & staying with us guys! We had a blast! I know, it's def our turn to come visit you now!

We always miss you & love you guys!

We had soooo much fun last weekend. Now, we're going to see Elmo in Lincoln tomorrow, but I'm sure Jack appreciates his time with his favoritest little friend ever, Peytunia Elisabells. They were so fun to watch, no? Can't wait to see y'all again!

Okay, my prior comment was supposed to say he appreciates his time with Peytie more than he will Elmo. Didn't sound that way in retrospect. Please forgive...

Needless to say, we had the best time in the whole world last weekend and can't wait to see you again. And you're right: It's your turn!
