12 week ultrasound!

I had an ultrasound on Thursday to confirm my due date & just to check things out. It went really well. I finally got to hear the heartbeat! Something about hearing and seeing the baby really makes me FEEL pregnant! Anyway, I think we are right on track as far as the due date. On or around October 12th, Peytie will be welcoming home her new sister OR brother! YAY!

Here are a couple pics. (Sorry about the blurriness but it was very hard to get a snap shot as he/she is VERY active!) I'm hoping for my sake, it doesn't remain like this or I may have a heckuva time once I can start feeling it!

Jaime & Jason's Baby Shower!!

We hosted a baby shower for our friends, Jaime & Jason Weiss last weekend. It was a great time & they got lots of nice things! Thanks to everyone for coming! Here are some pics from the day.

Joe bought a boat at an auction a couple weeks ago so he & Jason had to try it out in the yard. Can't wait to get this pretty thing out on the pits! LOL!

Dyeing Easter eggs...

Last Monday we went over to Aunt Missy's for supper & to dye Easter eggs. Kenna was here so it really good to see her. Thanks Miss, for having us over!

A couple weeks late...

Prom pictures! (Sorry, I'm a little late to post these.)

Heidi, Peyton & I attended the W/P promenade this year. Tori was beautiful (to no surprise). Her boyfriend, Daniel Gardner escorted her. They were absolutely adorable, as always...

Peytie had a blast looking at all the pretty dresses. Heidi & I got a good laugh as we were leaving the gym that nite - Peytie said, "That was a really good game, mommy!" (Normally, the only time we ever go to the school gym is for volleyball/basketball games.) What a cutie!

Anyway, so when we got to the promenade, I took 2 pictures and then I ran out of disc space on my camera!!! Aaaarrggghhh! So, thanks Tori- for e-mailing me your pics! I appreciate it. Don't know what I would do without my friends & family to pick up my slack on taking pictures!

Ok, so I came across several pictures that I had saved on my camera & just hadn't posted. So, this is a rather large post. As you'll notice, these first few are REALLY old. (You'll not only notice the snow but also Peytie's long hair!) Enjoy!

This was obviously awhile ago. This was the last heavy snow we got. Joe kept very busy with snow & ice removal for weeks!

We've had several really nice days lately so we've taken a couple trips to the park. Peytie LOVES the park!

We stopped by Grammy & Papa's house on the way back from the park one day & hung out with Luke & Matthew for a bit. Fun in the sandbox!

AN ANNOUNCEMENT!

Well, I thought it was about time I finally made the long awaited announcement...

I'm pregnant!!!

I'm just now 8 weeks along - with a due date of October 12th. (Exactly one month before Peyton's 4th birthday!) We're all very excited, especially 'soon to be big sister'! She's asked for a baby brother and of course I've told her we can't promise that (however, mom & dad are secretly hoping for a boy too.) But, honestly - if that isn't in the cards for us, then we'll be blessed with another wonderful daughter. :)

I've had a pretty rough time with morning sickness (HA! I love how they call it 'morning'... as if it's ONLY in the morning.?) No, I've been nauseated pretty much all day long for the last 2 weeks... YUK! So, as you can imagine - I'm REALLY looking forward to the 2nd trimester!! Other than that, things have been going very well so far. We'll keep you updated on the little one & as always, "Big Sis!" :)
