Vacation pics!

We took a little family vacation last weekend. We took off Friday morning & headed to Omaha. We spent some time at the hotel pool, visited Henry Doorly Zoo & did some shopping. It was nice to get away - even if it was just for 3 days! (Nana & Poppo came too!) We had a blast - glad you guys came!! Love you!

The girls did really well in the car, the entire trip. We stopped at the park in Hastings on our way there so they could stretch their legs & run off some energy.

We grabbed a quick bite to eat when we got to Omaha & then headed to the pool to swim. Peytie was SO excited! (I didn't get any pics of us swimming - the pool area was too humid, the camera kept getting fogged over.)





We got up Saturday morning, ate breakfast & headed to the zoo! Had a lot of fun but boy it was a long day!

Sunday, we did a little shopping at the mall on our way out of town. (Uncle Trav & Jess had come down to Lincoln for the Husker game on Sat. so they came up to Omaha & stayed with us.)

We had a late lunch at Old Chicago's in Kearney (on our way home.)

I don't know where the summer has gone... but Peytie was SO excited to go back to school. Here she is posing for me as we were leaving.

Labor Day weekend!!

Peytie got to go camping with Nana & Poppo on Friday night. She was SO excited & I think she had a grand time! Sawyer & I went out on Saturday to hang out for a while. It was so relaxing & peaceful... Thanks for inviting us out, Mom & Hank!!

Joe & I got to get away for a night on Sunday night!! We were invited to some friends of ours down in Colby, KS. Chris & Renae Gardner. We had a wonderful time! Thanks again for havin' us, guys! And a special thanks to Grandma Elaine for watching the girls all nite! Thanks G-ma - we REALLY appreciated it! Love you!
