A new nickname!

Ok, so nothing much has been going on at our household lately. (With the exception of Joe working hard at moving my laundry room upstairs to prepare for a new bathroom in the basement.)
*insert ecstatic grin here*

As you know, Peytie is 4 yrs old now (going on 14!) and she is really growing by leaps & bounds. And boy is she ever charasmatic! A hoot, sometimes I tell ya'! Hence the following story:

Tonight, while she was having one of her 4 yr old... 'moments' {for lack of a better term}, I told her instead of calling her Peytie, I was giving her the nickname of 'Pouty'. It was quite fitting, as I'm sure you all can imagine. Anyway, she immediately said "No!" So, as I was hollering in to her dad to tell him of her new nickname, she said "Mommy, that's not a nice name." I agreed & then asked her what name she thought we should call her. Her response was, "How 'bout something nice... I KNOW! You could call me Gramma 'Laine! 'Cause she's NICE & I like her!" And of course, both mommy & daddy agreed!
Ha Ha! Can ya' tell who her favorite next door neighbor is? ;o) I guess this is a 'shout-out' to our 'favorite Gramma 'Laine!' We sure love you & don't (and wouldn't want to) know what life would be like around here, without you!

Prom 2009!

This past weekend, we attended the W/P promenade. As you all know, our niece Tori is a Jr. this year. **sniff, sniff** She was absolutely STUNNING! (Her boyfriend Dan, cleaned up pretty well, too! ;o) We took a few pics before they left for the promenade.

The girls were pretty tired on the way up to the promenade. (It started at 8:30 our time, so it was most def their bedtime!) Here's Peytie, talkin' to her sister during the ride.

Ok, so unfortunately we got to the promenade a little late so Tori & Dan had already taken the 'walk'. (Still sorry about that Tor.) Anyway, the gym has extremely bad lighting anyway. (Which is why I made this black & white.) Such a good looking couple, no?

We went down to check out the decorations for the dance. They did a great job!

What?! 5 months old already?!?!

It's been 5 months since Miss Sawyer joined our family & we can hardly believe it!

She's growing WAY too fast. She started rolling over about a month ago & just started on some baby food. Sweet 'taters are her fav! (they were her sissy's fav too.) And boy does she like to talk?! She is such a 'chatterbox!!' She just gabs & gabs ALL day long... (hmmm - again, much like sissy! =) Her daddy has actually given her the nickname "Sawyer Jane Verbal." And what's even cuter - when she gets the giggles while watching/playing with Peytie. They are SO cute when they play together! Peytie's always doing something silly & when she starts laughing, then Sawyer chimes in. It's cuteness on a cracker, I tell ya'. (The video I posted a couple weeks ago proves that I guess. If you haven't seen it, scroll down & check it out! It's sure to bring ya' a chuckle or two.)
