Days spent with mommy...

Peytie & I have had the oppurtunity to hang out a lot lately, with all the holiday vacation time. We've had such a blast. I really hate to go back to the normal work schedule. Ya' know-where I actually have to work a full week! ;o) Anyway, here are some pics of Peytie (and Addie Cat), during our lazy days at home...

Such a pouty face...

Again, with the pouty face...

There's that gorgeous smile!

"Seriously mom, you need to put the camera down!"

Jacob Kent is born!!

Yes, this is Peyton's SECOND cousin born just this week! Jacob Kent, born to Aunt Missy & Uncle Jared, was born yesterday morning. Weighing in at 7lbs 3oz. And a full head of dark hair! We got to go see him yesterday & just as we expected... he's ADORABLE!! (Much like his 3 brothers!) Unfortunately, I forgot my camera when we went, so will post pics later this week. Congrats Missy, Jared, Kenna, Luke, Matthew & Nathan!

Love you guys!!

Some Christmas pics...

Santa's lap...
As outgoing & talkative as Peytie is, I really figured she would tell Santa what she wanted this year... but no, she surprised us all by completely clamming up! She just froze & didn't say a word! Oh well, she made sure mommy & daddy knew what was on her list. Smart kid! ;o)

We let Peyton open a few presents on Christmas Eve, before we went to church.

Christmas morning!

We had a great Christmas, spent with family. Thank you everyone, for all the wonderful gifts & great food! We are so thankful to live so close to family. We love being able to make it to everyone's festivities! Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!

*A side note: I am very discouraged right now. I had to switch to a new camera disc in the middle of Christmas day because I ran out of room on the old one. Well, I then took several pics on that new disc. But, unfortunately... when I went to download those pics tonite, my camera beeped at me & flashing 'Disc error'. Aaaarrrrggghhhhh! Oh, modern technology is just wonderful... sometimes. So, I'm still trying to salvage those (probably long lost) pictures. If I can, I will get them posted later this weekend. Cross your fingers!

Daycare fun!

As most of you know, Peytie's daycare lady quit the last of October so we had to find another option, short of mom quitting her job. (Yeah, you knew that wasn't gonna' happen!) So, our good friend, Laura so graciously changed her hours at her job so she could watch Peytie & 2 other kids here in town. (Good friends of ours - the Klumpe's.) Here are some pics taken about a month ago of Peytie, Paige & Karson. They have a lot of fun & Peytie really likes it there! We're hoping to get a daycare started at the Methodist church here in Palisade soon!
Thanks for these pics, Kari!

"Horsin' around!"

Peyton LOVES "horsey back rides" from her daddy, and of course, he gives in... everytime. (Yes, she's got him wrapped around her little finger...) However, his back was hurting the other nite & he just couldn't do it. So she made the best of it & just wrestled with him on the floor. I happened to get some shots of them playing. Life is never dull with these 2 around! ;o)

'Tis the season...

For Christmas lights galore and winter duds!

Ok, so the pictures didn't turn out very good. You definitely have to see it in person, but for those of you that can't, the pics will just have to do...

Peyton just loves the new coat she got from her Nana on her birthday! Here she is posing for me!

Sorry for the lack of updating...

I apologize for flaking on the blog updates lately. And call it 'just another excuse', but we have been SUPER busy trying to prepare for the holidays & all that they entail. Joe & I both got home at a decent time from work yesterday (a miracle in itself) so we finished putting up our Christmas lights. I think it was about 8:30pm when we were hanging the last string! You can honestly see them from the Moon I think! They're bright but SOOOO pretty! I really want to thank my wonderful husband for all the hard work it took to make our house look so good! Thank you honey... I love you! :)

As for the blog... I promise to update with more pics soon. I urge you to keep checking back, perhaps I will have a pic of the house all lit up! Hope you all are enjoying this crazy time before the holidays! See you soon!
